Background

Illustrator/designer/student/educator with over ten years experience in collegiate art education while freelancing in Brand Identity Design. Pivoting to include brand strategy.

Born and raised in Chicago. Often called weird because of the way I think, (I see options). While no one pressured me to become a doctor or an engineer, I was surrounded by role models that were engineers & doctors. The arts had a strong pull on me but STEM classes were pursued instead. STEM was fascinating and magical yet based on logic and analytical. Eventually, I combined my understanding of science, my skill to tell visual stories through illustration and design.

I enjoy word play, dad jokes, Amar Chitra Katha Comics, Halloween, The Cubs, and leisure biking.
