Background

I am an illustrator/designer/student/educator with over ten years experience in college art teaching while building a visual communications side hustle.

Born and raised in Chicago. As a child, I was surrounded by doctors and engineer role models. I studied STEM even though art had a strong pull on me. I pursued illustration after my undergraduate studies. Now, I blend scientific thinking with visual storytelling in my work.

I enjoy word play, dad jokes, Amar Chitra Katha Comics, Halloween, taking in a game at Wrigley, and leisure biking.
